The goal of the music ministry is to minister to God in song. Each and every time that we are called on to render musical selections, it will be our endeavor to invoke the presence of God. To entertain the people is to fall short of what God requires of us as music ministers, for our sole purpose is to worship God, not to be seen of men.

Before becoming a part of the music ministry, one should pray and consider very carefully before making a decision. This ministry requires sacrifice, dedication, and a lot of hard work. Being a part of the music ministry is not for those who just sing, but it is for individuals who recognize that God is to be given a perfect praise and that He is worthy of EXCELLENCE!

So if your desire is to lift Jesus and to magnify His Holy Name, then as Psalms 95 says, "Come let us sing unto the Lord. Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto Him with Psalms".
